This book was an impulse buy at a new bookstore I discovered last week (is there anything better than discovering a new great bookstore??). I had been looking for books the hit that sweat spot between political science, communications and technology. This book looked like a good reflection on the human impacts of technology.
Despite the fact that it was mentioned in the blurb on the back, I was surprised to discover that most of this book was about the overlap of religion and technology. How, out of thousands of books, did I pick up a book that talked about the creative nature of created beings and if we have integrated technology into who we are, what it means if we were created in the image of God.
This might be a small book, but boy did it make me think. And it made me wish I co-readers interested in a discussion.
This book is thought provoking and perfect for anyone interested in how technology is changing the world and what the implications are for religion and our understanding of God. I’m sure your copy will end up as underlined as mine now is.
